Welcome to Georgia Virtual Technical Connection (GVTC) Training and Online Teaching Resources. We are the Distance Education department within the Technical Education division of TCSG. GVTC provides various opportunities for training on topics such as Blackboard Learn, Accessibility, Third Party, etc. We look forward to supporting you and hope you find the information needed to help you better serve the students of TCSG.

GVTC offers training support to faculty at all 22 TCSG colleges, including Adult Education and Workforce Development. We provide scheduled webinars, college training requests, help ticket support, LMS training courses, documentation and tutorials

This training portal provides access to faculty handouts, pre-recorded webinars, tutorials and other training resources. It also provides access to all GVTC upcoming training sessions. You must register for all GVTC webinars. Before you can begin enrolling in training sessions, you will need to create a GVTC account. Select the link below for instructions on creating an account, enrolling and unenrolling in sessions.

The Blackboard Training for Faculty section in the menu to the left will direct you to the BB 1101: Blackboard Basics and BB 1102: Blackboard Advanced training courses. If you are enrolled, select your group to be directed to the Blackboard environment where the courses reside. The groups are listed below along with how faculty is enrolled.

Technical Education - Your college Distance Education POC will request to have your enrolled.

Adult Education - You can self-enroll in the courses via the AdultEd Go Blackboard environment.
Economic Development - Your ED contact person will request to have you enrolled.
