Please be certain you have activated your OKTA account before trying to log in to Bb. You can go to gntc.okta.com and set up your account. If you have problems logging in please submit a Student Login Issue Help Form as that is the only way to get assistance with these errors. The password you set must comply with the following rules.

  1. It must contain three of the four things a keyboard can do: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
  2. It must be at least fourteen characters long.
  3. It cannot contain your username.
  4. It cannot be a password that you have previously used.

After setting up your account in okta, please clear your cache or use a private (incognito) window to log in. Links to assist GNTC Email Page Clearing Cache, Removing Saved Passwords, (GNTC is not responsible for changes made to personal electronic devices.)  Clear cache GIF. If using Chrome you will need to enable your pop-ups.   It is a good idea to use the power button in the top right corner of your Bb account to log out when you are finished to keep cache errors to a minimum.

  • If you are being timed out when taking a test you may need to clear your browser history.

Accessibility Services

Welcome! Accessibility Services at Georgia Northwestern Technical College coordinates support services for GNTC students who request accommodations and academic adjustments. We are committed to providing equal access for participation in all programs, services, and activities.

Students requesting accommodations for the first time need to make an appointment for a meeting with the Accessibility Services Coordinator to establish eligibility. Accessibility Services Coordinator can provide details about services and accommodations that are available to qualified students with appropriate documentation. Early planning is encouraged to allow Accessibility Services Coordinator adequate time to make the necessary arrangements for support services.

Please note there is a speaker icon in your Bb classes which allows you to choose to have the document read aloud. This is the new text-to-speech tool for those of you who wish to have documents read aloud. It can be used in all of your classes by using the icon in the bottom left of your screen or for document reading to the right of each document.  The tutorial for student use can be found at YouTube Tutorial for Students.
