Blackboard
Many courses at Wiregrass utilize the internet and/or Blackboard. Blackboard is a Learning Management System (LMS) utilized by Wiregrass Georiga Technical College for all courses regardless of the delivery method (Online, Blended, or On-Campus). Courses are available in Blackboard on the first day of class, but not before.
It is the student's responsibility to have regular access to a computer that meets the technical requirements. Students cannot successfully complete all online requirements using only an iPad, iPhone, Android device or tablet. These devices will allow you to perform only certain functions and not complete an entire course. While students must have an Internet Service Provider that provides a stable connection (DSL, T1, ISDN, or cable), Wiregrass has open computer labs on each campus through Library Services.
