Financial Aid

The Financial Aid Office will you help you apply for Financial Aid. FEDERAL SCHOOL CODE IS 005256. Applications for aid must be completed each academic year, which begins on July 1st and ends June 30th.   Students may complete the necessary application processes for financial aid at various campus locations, or complete the application online.

Complete the 2022-2023 FAFSA at https://fafsa.gov/  for Fall 2022, Spring 2023, and Summer 2023.   Don't delay!  

  • Allow 5 to 7 days for your FAFSA application to process.
  • Check status at BanWeb:
    • Click on  Student Services & Financial Aid  and select  Financial Aid.
    • Scroll down and click on  My Overall Status of Financial Aid  and select the current FAFSA aid year and submit.
    • Click on  My Eligibility  and select  Student Requirements. Here you may view the status of your financial aid application and check to see if you have been selected for a process called Verification.
    • Applications selected Verification requires additional processing.   If selected, you will see " VERIFY"   and will be notified by e-mail to create an account at https://wiregrass.verifymyfafsa.com/ to review your task list to determine what items are needed to complete verification. Please note that verification is a process initiated by the IRS. Wiregrass does not determine students who are selected for verification.
  • Financial Aid offers for grants are completed and displayed on MyBanWeb under "Authorized/available aid."     The amount authorized on your account for the semester is based on your FAFSA results; program of study, registration hours; and satisfactory academic progress standing (SAP).
